Carmen moved from Mexico City to New York to pursue her art career. Shortly after obtaining an M.F.A. Degree in Printmaking, she was seduced by the art of tattooing and the collaborative nature of creating an image that will live and breathe on skin. Carmen has been tattooing in NYC since 2013.
Carmen is a versatile artist who tattoos in a variety of styles — fine line, neotraditional, ornamental, geometric, illustrative, color, black and grey — and focuses on custom tattooing to give each client a unique piece of art. Carmen loves tattooing every subject matter and, even more, loves to do fantastic, surreal and dark imagery.
